I Never Have Enough Time! How to Steward Your Time Well

April 9, 2019

I don’t know about you but for me, 24 hours just does not feel like enough time to get all the things that I need to do in a day. I mean, there’s chores, and work, and cooking, and don’t even get me started about exercise, meal prep, devotionals, “quiet time”. Who even has time for quiet time!? . . .

5 Reasons You Need Friends in Your Life

March 7, 2019

I’ll have to admit, sometimes life can seem much easier when you only have to worry about yourself. I mean singleness is a brooding ground for self preservation and isolation. You can throw yourself into your work or your hobbies and be engrossed with becoming the best version of yourself leaving . . .

Aha a subject we have all been waiting for. The Significance of Baptism and Salvation

October 9, 2018

I recently had a discussion with several family members about the significance of baptism and the role it plays on salvation. We have had several babies born in my extended family and two grandchildren in my immediate family and some members were upset that the children have not been baptized. My . . .

From Orphan to Daughter of the Most High King

October 4, 2018

“Why don’t you want a kitten?”, asked the employee at the animal shelter. I answered her with a superficial response. The fact is everyone wants kittens. Right? Just like everyone wants to foster and adopt babies. I wanted an older cat, who was possibly overlooked just like older children tend to . . .

Moved by the Music

June 4, 2018

I come from a really good Christian family. My parents were both Christians and I grew up in the church. I was 8 years old when I was baptized and I grew up in a home that put God first. Music was always something that we shared together as a family, and thankfully, I do think this is why music . . .

There’s a page on my blog that specifically highlights testimonies. This page is called A Dose of Hope and as a whole, it is definitely my favorite part of doing this blog. Sure, I like writing and all, and I like sharing some biblical truth with everyone, but sharing YOUR STORIES has been by far . . .

How Navigator’s Council Has Transformed My Marriage

April 5, 2018

One of the things I LOVE about social networking is that every so often I stumble upon an account that I absolutely fall in love with. I have been following Beating 50 Percent since just before Evan and I tied the knot last summer and have been completely caught up in the lives of Jeremy and Audrey . . .

Meet Caylee

Hey there, I’m Caylee! I am 28 years old, been married for 4 years, mama to a sweet and adventurous toddler, expecting little brother in May 2022. I started blogging in January 2017 and this blog has grown with me as I go through big life changes and spiritual change. After an early pregnancy loss in April 2021, I took an unexpected break from blogging and this site is currently in a season of transition as I rely on God to show me what to do with it next. I pray this blog is a way to spread the word of the coolest guy I know, Jesus Christ, with the world around me and to have authentic conversations about maturing in Christ, marriage, and motherhood as intentional Christian women.
